Since we moved back to Bolton every time we return to Manchester countless new venues seem to have popped up. Stepping into the centre I can normally be found in a haze frantically trying to remember all the new places we need to try out.
The décor is bright and enticing, without a sniff of the contrived ‘We’re too cool for you to be here’ vibe that so many concept bars and restaurants in Manchester seem to have these days.
Great staff, quirky drinks, quality music and fantastic food, Crazy Pedro’s have the fundamental four nailed down. Their menu doesn’t take itself too seriously, and pizza is available to buy by the slice or as a full 16”
Totally delicious, their menu includes stars such as the The Mac Daddy (In homage to those golden arches) a very spicy meaty number (I can’t quite recall the name of) and Chicken and Waffle complete with maple syrup.
So without further ado onto the event itself.
Starting this little space on the internet has in many ways forced me to come out of my shell, and meeting bloggers at events such as ‘Blog Crush’ has been a catalyst for this.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m incredibly excited to get married, but at the same time I don’t want to lose my identity and become just one half of a couple. Getting out and doing things for myself helps prevent that, and meeting up with lovely Manchester bloggers is of course a fantastic way to spend the afternoon.
Attending the event also gave me the chance to catch up with my long lost pal Rosin of Dromomania. We’d not seen each other for three years and safe to say we were overdue a good natter!
Thanks to Jess for organising such a fantastic event (and letting me swipe her photos) and to Crazy Pedro’s for being such wonderful hosts.
