Following our baby boy’s arrival, we’re just about snatching a few hours of sleep here and there, and with that in mind we enthusiastically agreed to trial a new pillow from Casper with a unique design. Understandably we’re keen that any shuteye we get is as good as it can be!
Ordering the pillow couldn’t have been easier, and the delivery was quick and seamless. Coincidentally, it arrived the day we came home from hospital, and I couldn’t have been happier to see it.
Unusually for a pillow the packaging was beautiful, and could easily be sent as a gift straight from Casper for sleep deprived friends and family in need.
Promising the perfect balance between softness and support, Casper pillows have an innovative pillow-in-pillow design. The inner pillow is supportive, while the outer pillow adds a soft touch of fluff.
Replacing my normal (Very dated) pillow, I could immediately tell the difference. My neck is supported, and all in all the sleep I do get is much more comfortable. Casper offer customers a refund if they are not completely satisfied after one-hundred-day trial, but after just a week I couldn’t be happier with my new pillow.
An added bonus in this hot weather, the 100% cotton cover features a breathable percale weave. Paired with the silky fibres inside, the cover increases airflow, so you always have the option sleeping on the cool side of the pillow. I’ve popped it in a pillow case so it matches the rest of our bedding, but if there is a warm night ahead I take the pillow out to benefit from Casper’s cool feature.
While a full night’s sleep might be a few months away, I certainly wouldn’t be without my new pillow for these early months with our baby. It even makes sitting up to feed him more comfortable… crucial when you’re up and awake in the twilight hours!
The only problem now is that after being spoilt with a new Casper pillow I’m now intrigued what a difference their mattress could make….
